Course and lesson creation
Users create courses and lessons within each course. Public or invite-only.
Add learning source content
Import real-world artifacts or formal education materials (e.g. textbooks) via PDF or json.
Create lessons, practice, or assessments
Learning content can be linear or variable; spaced repetition (FSRS-6, similar to Anki) and item-response theory (computer-adaptive difficulty) engines are available. Spaced repetition improves memorization by presenting content to the users right before they forget it. Item-response theory "learns" the user's ability level by selecting the next question based on performance on past questions. The item-response theory creates rich data on each student's progress, as estimates of student ability are generated as a byproduct.

Analytics on student progress are made available to course admins.
